Six Songs for Invisible Gardens

by Green-House

supported by
Art Fin
Art Fin thumbnail
Art Fin Soothing music with sounds of water, birds and Gamelan-like tones that remind me of Robert Rich's 1989 "Rainforest" LP but more organic. Bio says "...designed as a communication with both plant life and the people who care for them."

medicinasam I am in a state of renewing my relationship to music. I had fallen into a pattern of listening to the music of my youth and what was retro then. 90’s music and classic rock have been the order of the
day. I would let in a novel or weird band or album here and there.
Circumstance has blessed me with the opportunity to open my mind all over again. I am now seeking and finding newness and depth in music.
This album makes my soul sing. And I purchased my first tape in over 20 years!
Many thanks!

about

Green-House is the project of Los Angeles based artist Olive Ardizoni.

Approaching the project with an intentional naivety, they craft songs that find freedom through simplicity. As a non-binary artist, they hope to create a space with fewer barriers as both a performer and a listener.

Their first release as Green-House, “Six songs for Invisible Gardens” (out Jan 15, 2020) was written with the intention of transforming the listening environment and augmenting domestic space. The music is designed as a communication with both plant life and the people who care for them.
